Marci Barnes

Since Marci Barnes arrived on the Dallas Design scene in 1996, she has established herself as one of Dallas’ most versatile designers. As owner and principal designer of M. Barnes & Co., her firm has been responsible for the design and production of numerous high-end residential and commercial projects. She and her team of designers are know for insightful design work with projects requiring complete interior finish selection and specification as well as projects requiring interior furnishings.

A West Texas native, she received her bachelor’s degree in interior design and minor of architecture from Texas Tech University with honors. In addition, her studies have extended abroad to London, Chelsea Kings College where she concentrated on period interiors and interior architectural detailing. She is a registered designer with the State of Texas since 1999 and also a professional member of ASID.

“Every project is different. None of our clients want the same design. We start each new project, large or small, by listening to what our clients are trying to create. Only then can we be inspired to know how to use our knowledge of interior finishes, styles, textiles, and furnishings to mold each client’s house into a home.”
